Born on an island, I lived for years in front of the blue of the sea, but I felt more attracted to the green scent of the Mediterranean landscape. It was easy to feel touched by such intense light, by the variety of colors so changing, by the proximity to such an immediate natural beauty.

Created, creature, creativity. Humble daughter of this motherland I have always felt the call for manual creativity, a singular mixture of fertile ground humus and openness towards a constant search for verticality.

My encounter with painting stems from this experience, from these premises of intimate materiality. It was born from the search for a vertical dimension always anchored to an earthly humanity, always used to real, manual contact, with the fatigue of the earth and of life.

The use of a materic acrylic technique was therefore the privileged way to my pictorial dimension.
